Arbalet Spearguns

The speargun represents the oldest propulsion system adopted on spearguns and uses rubber bands as an element to give thrust to the shaft. Over the years, however, there has been a considerable evolution, in particular in relation to the system of elastic bands adopted.
Today a speargun is defined as:
> Classic or Traditional, if the shaft is pulled by one or more pairs of rubber bands
> Roller or Inverter, if the rod is tractioned by one or more elastic bands that rotate above and below the stem through the use of rotating pulleys
> Demultiplied or Vela, if the propulsion is obtained through a tackle system, in which the rubber bands are positioned under the reel and are linked directly to the pieces of dyneema which, passing over several gear pulleys, drive the shaft.
Obviously the various systems, in addition to the thickness of the shafts they are capable of using, are different in terms of shooting range, speed of action and general management. They are produced in different sizes and are suitable for different fishing situations.
